How you started in radio:

I got started in radio when I walked into Ritenour High School. They had a 10 watt station and it was there that I honed my skills.

 

I graduated and spent some time at Florissant Valley Community College and though I did some work in radio there I majored in Journalism and Communications.

While still being a mobile DJ I pretty much knew radio was where I was going to be, and when Radio One came to St. Louis I landed a part time job as a Board Op until they figured out I was so much more. Now an On Air Personality, to voice-over, I still DJ on the air on 2 of our stations 96.3(WFUN) and Y98(KYKY) and I am also the Production Coordinator as well.

 

Community Cause:

Years ago I had a fiance' who passed away from Lupus and it was there that I started working with the Lupus Foundation Heartland Chapter where I serve as their DJ for most of the events they have from St. Louis to Kansas City, MO.

I also do work for Ronald McDonald House Charities as well in the same capacity.
